Elderly Arab Men Watch “Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas,” Don’t Understand

Beverly Beach, Florida (9:00 GMT)— Two elderly Arab men are confused this evening after watching a discounted matinee version of Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas (2013).

The two men, Fawzy Suleiman and Hamdy Mostafa, exited the movie with more questions than answers.

Hamdy “seriously didn’t get why Madea looks like that, are we missing something?”

“Wait. Hold up. Madea is Santa. But the others were also Santa. But then soul food? I don’t even…” said Fawzy as he threw his hands up in characteristic Arab fashion.

Although this experience with a Tyler Perry movie was less than enjoyable, Fawzy and Hamdy say they really enjoyed The Nutty Professor (1996), a movie that Tyler Perry was not involved with.
